Glarysoft Process Manager
By Seth Rosenblatt 09/29/07
Security Process Explorer is a freeware replacement for the Windows native Task Manager. You can explore the connections between different processes, block processes, end them, and view in-depth information about a particular process. You can even search on the Web for a particular process, but unlike other programs, Security Process Explorer takes you to a proprietary page to learn more.

A good Task Manager replacement
By Elena Santos
This is the case of Security Process Explorer, a full featured task manager created by Glarysoft (who you may already know for their awesome Glary Utilities). This tool analyzes your system and creates a list with all the currently active applications and processes, each one of them complemented with extra data such as CPU and memory usage, threads, priority and also a rating according to the level of trust given by this program's users themselves.

"It lets you view the processes you have running on your computer. If you find an application you deem unnecessary, or Heaven forbid, unwanted such as spyware or adware it's easy to block the program from running. If your not sure about a program click on the more info tab and it will take you to glarysoft's database where it will give you more information about that running program. It also provides you with a risk factor for each running program. If you inadvertantly block an application your computer needs to run properly just go to the edit tab and unblock that program. It's that easy!"
