It monitors your system in the background and frees up memory whenever needed to increase the performance of your computer. If the available physical memory gets too low, Memory Optimizer causes the system to swap old data to the paging file to free up memory for your applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interface Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"466\" height=\"555\" src=\"https:\/\/72-14-185-161.ip.linodeusercontent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-137.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-246\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-137.png 466w, https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-137-252x300.png 252w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. The First Line Buttons:<\/strong>\u00a0quick access button to the &#8220;Optimization&#8221; or &#8220;Options&#8221; function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. The Upper Black Area:\u00a0<\/strong>displays the CPU Usage and physical memory usage graph, so you know how much memory you&#8217;re using and how much free memory you have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. A graph recording the activity is present, and the color code functions. Memory information is similar to CPU information in that a graph shows the usage of the physical memory. The color of the lines shown in the memory usage graph also corresponds to the different values in the window. The details displayed here contain a maximum and minimum value of memory usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Enable Auto Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"466\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/72-14-185-161.ip.linodeusercontent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-139.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-139.png 466w, https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-139-300x270.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under the &#8220;Options&#8221; tab, checkmark &#8220;Enable Auto Optimization&#8221;. If you do not wish to have your memory usage optimized automatically, you can disable this function here.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under &#8220;Optimize automatically when free memory at&#8221;, you can specify the free memory level that triggers automatic optimization. This can for example, be set at 50 MB. Under &#8220;Increase free memory to&#8221;, you can specify how much memory you want to free up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you wish to restore the module to the recommended settings, click&nbsp;<strong>Recommended<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manual Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"466\" height=\"384\" src=\"https:\/\/72-14-185-161.ip.linodeusercontent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-140.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-140.png 466w, https:\/\/www.glarysoft.com\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-140-300x247.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you do not use Auto Optimization, or if you want to free up memory before you start a program that requires a lot of memory, you can go to Manual Optimization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under &#8220;Manual Optimization&#8221;, you can use the slider to specify how much memory should be improved. Click &#8220;Optimize&#8221; to free the specified amount of memory. Click&nbsp;<strong>Clear Clipboard&nbsp;<\/strong>to free up the memory used by this data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recommended Value<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For manual optimization, you can make the appropriate optimization under the &#8220;Optimization&#8221; tab. This tab allows you to set the amount of memory to be optimized when pressing the\u00a0Optimize\u00a0button in the middle part of the window.
