| It may not be a security risk but for the unsuspecting or newbe it is very dangerous. When I shut it down with the Task Manager everything I tried to turn it back on failed. I have NO ICONS on my desktop so there was nothing to click on and I was unable to access the Task Manager. Through a back door I finally was able to access SYSTEM RESTORE and was able to restore everything back to normal. | |||

| If you don't have enough RAM to run games or applications you can disable explorer.exe before you had to copy the file directory of your game in task manager. | |||

| TO: the grumpygeezer: Next time press Ctrl-Alt-Del, and get the Task Manager up and running. then go to "File" and click the RUN command, then just type "Explorer" (no quotes) and it will re-start. | |||

| i am not very pc literate but i sure would like to be. do i have too many processes running as shown by this application? i do not know which ones should or should not be running or what they are but i sure hope to one of these days. my goal is a fast response system that doesnt keep me hanging wondering why it is taking so long! i think your utilities are the best and even better than any that have a high price tag. thank you. kmay@msn.com | |||
