This came with the latest version of IE 7 that I installed and it has caused nothing but problems, slowing down my computer to a crawl, even when doing nothing. It's awful.

Ate my speed and made me vulnerable. So far I'm waiting to see how this code was in my best interest in ANY way! I would not have CHOSEN to download this. How do I kill it without disabling all security???

this is the windows alerts popup file.. it will always come up when any of these things happen: 1: you dont have your firewall working, either windows or any other that you might have installed. 2: you haven't activated windows updates or 3: you don't have any antivirus installed in your computer or your antivirus program is out of date...

This application keeps telling me that Zone Alarm Pro is turned off when it is not. It also tells me that AVG is turned off, which is not true. How do I get rid of it other than editing the registry?

If this file is in folder C:\\Windows\\System32, it is part of Windows' Security Center Notification application (Service Pack 2). There are mixed opinions about it, but the majority recommend leaving it alone. (Some people claim it slows down their computers.) Note - If it's located anywhere other than in your C:\\Windows\\System32 folder, be careful ... you need to scan and clean your system carefully.

Thanks Cesarean. Your instructions got rid of the security alert and the icon in my tray. I appreciate it.
