| wsc_proxy.exe is part of Avast anti-virus. It did not appear on my system until I fired up Thunderbird to access some archived email, it is now shown in Task Manager as "Avast Remediation Service" (whatever that is). Once it appears you are stuck with it, attempts to end process result in "access denied" messages. | |||
