| I Disable this feature on my laptop because I mainly have it connected to a large flat screen tv, sits on the table and never goes anywere so there is no risk of dropping the unit or damaging the drive. | |||

| This can save your laptop hard drive from damage. Senses unexpected drops and parks the heads. I've seen it work. Don't recommend disabling unless your bolted down. | |||
