| I disagree regarding needing it if you insert an SD card in the printer. I have an HP Photosmart 7960 and could read SD cards without a problem with this disabled. | |||

| I don't know exactly what this program do. But is of HP sure. In this PC have a HP OfficeJet 4255 all-in-one series. But this HP don't have any reader of SD card, so the awswer is still open. | |||

| he name ""Component Manager"" makes this process seem much more impressive than it really is -- it's just a program that contacts the Internet periodically to check for software updates on certain Hewlett Packard computers.
