| When I disabled this on my Sager laptop, then restarted, the extra application launch buttons weren't functioning (buttons/keys similar to the power button that you preset to launch an app or email, etc). I think the name lchgkey is somewhat of a short version of 'launch key'. I re-enabled it, restarted, and the keys then worked fine. There is some concern on the web that a similar file could be a worm/virus, but I think as long as this file is inside your sys32 folder, it is safe. | |||
