LPRemove deletes language pack files that you don't use. For instance, if you only use the English language on your computer, you don't need files written in German, French, etc. LPRemove gets rid of the other language files. LPRemove runs silently during the boot process. It's part of the MUI, or Multilingual User Interface.

You should keep LPRemove in startup if you plan to uninstall language packs. Otherwise, it's useless and should not be run every time you boot.

Lpremove is a program that is automatically scheduled to run in silent mode at least once during the boot process to delete any unused language pack files. For example, if you uninstall a language pack, the language pack files and the associated values are not actually deleted from your computer until Lpremove runs. More information
