| The Best Anti Malware Program Known to Man. A must have. Not necessary for startup up. You can delay it but if you don't have it in the start menu at all, at least run it daily. Unless you have the pro version, then no need to run it daily because the pro version comes with REAL TIME Monitoring. | |||

| MalwareBytes Anti-Malware is an excellent tool and there's nothing malicious or harmful about this service. However, it's not necessary to run it at system startup. The ability to disable running MalwareBytes at system startup is a "feature" of the premium version of their software. Although it's probably worthwhile to purchase the premium version, it's definitely the users' right to decide what runs when the computer starts up. I choose not to run this service when the computer starts. | |||
