It's like a virtual machine on-demand for trying new applications. Allows the intallation and use of one program without effecting ANY changes to the host system, and at the same time provides the choice to push the changes back to the host system or discard them entirely. More information

Sandboxie is a valid program that can help keeping your pc safe from virus infections by running programs in isolation from the rest of your pc. Though I like to know if starting Sandboxie up with Windows primary group is needed and if you can't safely have it start up with a delay instead. More information
