| Skype is a memory hoarded. If you want to use it all day every day then enable it, otherwise disable it from Startup and launch it as you require it. | |||

| I use this every day, it's perfectly safe under normal conditions it doesn't use much CPU or bandwidth, and most the time with enough RAM [2gb is fine], it won't affect your computers operation of course it uses a lot of memory, but you can just exit it if needed, or if you rarely use, it, just remove it from start-up | |||

| If you use Skype constantly then leave it. If you don't then start it up when needed. If you have a lower end computer and don't use Skype all the time I suggest starting it up when needed. | |||
