From all of the above conclusion is taken that the soundman.exe process needen't be launched on setup though some might exerience quality problems with there media players it is not a required process (can be manually started whenever it is needed)

Although not needed when starting Winblows it's usefullness far exceeds other media icons in ther taskbar by allowing easy access to the following: Sound Management,Mutimedia,Media Play,Sound Recorder,Volume Control and other MM programs if so desired.
