| Toolbar Notifier protects your Google search settings and notifies you if a website or program attempts to change your default search settings. Sometimes malware attempts to redirect your searches to an unfamiliar search engine. If you confirm the change and choose a new default search engine, Toolbar Notifier will be disabled automatically. Enable or disable Toolbar Notifier Click Toolbar's wrench icon. On the Search tab, select (or deselect) the 'Set and keep Google as the default search engine' checkbox. Click Save. | Be advised, if you turn this off, it will create a new entry to turn itself back on. Best to change it in the Service Panel of Windows Admin Tools to Manual Start. | |||

| apparently, this entry (re) added itself to my windows startup AFTER I had placed it in the "delayed startup" column. Upon checking, I discovered it has something to do w/Google (its a ToolbarNotifier) ... I've dropped the goo-sters a line to let them know of this unwanted pushy behavior. | |||
