| Switchboard 2.0 installed with the CS5 versions is indeed only used for MiniBridge/Bridge communication. If you don't have any plans to use MiniBridge with Ps or ID, then I believe your OK with the rename of the .exe. BTW, MiniBrige needs Bridge to function, as well, so if you decide in the future to try MiniBridge out and rename Switchboard back again, make sure you undue any hacks to make Bridge not work. The option to not install Bridge was investigated but led down a path of instability and complexity for the installer. I don't know if that will be revisited for CS6, but there were a few other components that wanted to provide something similar. Steve | |||

| If you have Adobe FAMILY CS6 then you will have this process running. If you don't need this at startup (you don't use Adobe very ofter - 50% of the times when you turn on your computer) then you can disable it. | |||
