| Have been using this successfully on HP Compaq nc6320 laptop. Recently started taking 50% of CPU as soon as it starts at bootup. Whole system slows. several versions in directory as SynTPEnh(n) where n is a number. I think these are from MSRecovery backups. This indicate that it changes in soome way over time. Probably infected with virus or perhaps corrupted installation. Tried reloading from HP site but no change. I am disabling with SynTPStart untill can find solution. Any ideas welcome. | |||

| this app enables a the touchpad pointing device on a laptop/netbook. it is definitely needed to use the laptop's built-in scrolling device and L/R buttons. however, if you use an optional usb mouse, its probably not needed | |||

| Synaptics Touch Pad Enhancements Driver. Definitely useful if you customize your touchpad settings on a laptop equipped with a Synaptics pad or software. Delaying this entry will not cause problems, as the touchpad has default functionality without the enhanced features running. | |||
