| This little gem was slipped into a Windows Update by Microsoft. Basically, they're trying to discern whether or not you're using a valid Windows OS with a valid product key. If it sees that you're not, it will inform you that you'll have to purchase a product key to continue using the OS. If you disable this or ignore the warning after you get one, Windows will simply no longer work. | |||

| I have had this disabled on Win7Pro for a long time now. I disabled the validation task deadline also. I have had no problems with the OS. | |||
