| Nitro PDF software products come packaged with the Nalpeiron Licensing solution, which is used for the product activation service. This licensing system operates as a service called NLS Service which in turn runs a local process called NLSSRV32.exe. This is not a rogue process and it will not harm your computer. If your firewall or antivirus alerts you about this process, go ahead and grant the appropriate permissions. Caution is advised if you wish to delete this service, since there are many popular applications (e.g. Alien Skin, Altiris, BCL, Symantec) which depend on this service to remain active. | |||

| It is not dangerous at all, it's a licensing component (copy protection) for some software like Adobe Photoshop etc. It may also be installed by games like GTA IV. | |||
