| All I know is that when my Codec Pack is out of date or any part of this program is deleted/ disabled then Windows Media Player does not work at all. BE CAREFUL though. during the update make sure you do the "custom install" and uncheck any "offers" or add ons, as they are annoying Bing/Yahoo malware. | |||
