| If you use a printer over your network leave it activated if you don't use a printer disable it, its safe to. | |||

| A print spooler "spools" print files to disk and sends the print data to the printer at the the much slower speed that the printer recieve it. This frees up the processor to its other tasks. | |||

| Useful ***** if you print from this PC. Cannot print withought it. Useless * If you do not print from this PC: Disable I do print so I must choose Useful 5 ***** I plan on setting to manual start in windows services. So it only starts when called upon. | |||

| Every time I want to start my HP printer I have to go to the control panel and troubleshoot my printer just to get the Print Spooler to work. The technicians from HP have tried to get it to stay on from startup numerous times with no success. That was done remotely. | |||
