How much memory does it take to run? If it is a small puppy, no harm in leaving it. If it is a big ole hog remove it.

I have seen this service bog down network after network. It will constantly sit there and search for Windows Media compatible devices and waste a ton of resources. Right click Computer , Manage, Services and Disable the service from starting up

Totalement inutile pour moi - mais il se réinstalle sans cesse dans les tâches de démarrage, ce qui le rend carrément nuisible

Définitivement inutile au démarrage - ATTENTION : programme invasif (il se réinstalle lui-même au démarrage à l'insu de l'utilisateur). Il est donc non seulement inutile mais en olus parasite;
