| This is an add-on shell to replace the ever-worse Microsoft start menus with the format of your choosing. Presumably you put this on your computer, so you should probably keep it. Or uninstall it. | |||

| One of the first things I want to load up in Win 8 since I boot into and use only desktop mode. I want my Start button to function immidiately if I need it. | |||

| WIN 8/8.1 is designed for touch screen laptops, notebooks and phones. If you are using a none touch screen device with WIN 8/8.1, Classic Start Menu allows the user to install XP or WIN 7 start menus. This means that the stupid charm bar, etc. is eliminated and users can get on with some useful work without the hassle of the "wonderful" Metro screen layout !! | |||
