Cyberlion's Startup Optimizer calls this program mal-ware. Text as follows: Added by the RAIDYS Trojan! Note - this should not be confused with the valid Office XP file, see here (with a [link] to Microsoft.com product info site for ctfmon.exe ) For the record, I am *still* in the process of trying to eliminate this. Ctfmon.exe is part of Microsoft Office XP monitors the active windows and provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard, translation, and other alternative user input technologies. It should be located here: C:\\Windows\\System32 If not it can be virus, spyware, trojan or worm! | |||
