| I hate quicktime it's a useless application in this day & age of Web 3.0 and VLC Video, Vimeo, and millions of other applications that are web--based or even simple programs such as win media player classic or VLC Player beats this crappy crap anyday of the year.. | Das Programm wird nur benötigt, um das Tray Icon in der Startleiste anzuzeigen. Wird diese Option in Quicktime deaktiviert, kann man auch den Autostarteintrag entfernen. | |||

| Definitelty unecessary. I have more than 50 softwares installed and if i'd let them install all their startup registry items and let them run all their services, my computer would take 2 hours to boot. Apple is definately not aware of that and doesn't care about Windows users, since the iTunes installer installs more than 4 services and 2 startup executables which is absolutely ridiculous. "Apple Mobile Device", "Apple Software Update" "Bonjour Service", "iPod Service", "iTunesHelper.exe" and "QuickTimeTask.exe". That's why I use a 3rd party plug-in for my iPod to work in MS WMP and I'll never use this crappy software again. | |||
