| This is Windows file sharing. It is no different than any file sharing app. It allows MS to use your computer as a server to make updates faster for you and all others. It is MS policy to use only on computers with unlimited accounts because it does use your bandwidth. For some computers it can cause slow down of internet speeds. It can be turned off supposedly under SETTINGS and UPDATES. There is a switch. My switch was already OFF. Hmmm. Thanks to Glary I will kill this startup before it gets started. I suppose the switch to turn this on or off is not really effective at turning this startup off. Others may find it useful. | |||
