Waste of resources. No need for any program to have a separate program that checks for updates... they should only check when they are run.

This is NOT needed to run Java scripts. This searches for updates to your Java plugin. You can download them from their site when you need them.

I AGREE ON EVERY AUTO UPDATE,if you think its good something starts each time you turn your computer on and check for update, keep it. I think I can check for update myself.
