| You really don't need this to run, because you can manually check for updates thus saving some startup time. So I wouldn't leave this on. | |||

| Be aware that Java updates don't remove the old versions. They have to be manually uninstalled.Currently version 6.1.??? should have update 17. Here's what I recommend for everyone. It's one of the best free programs ever designed. I bet no one will score 100% the first time out. More information | |||

| Not required to run at startup. If you like you can delay it so it will still check on updates, but only after your system has finished starting up it's main services. | |||
